Francisco is a CEO/CFO, two-time founder, angel investor, and venture partner with 15+ years of experience across startups and multinational companies. He has led businesses and finance teams across Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, and the U.S., combining hands-on operating leadership with deep strategic finance expertise.
He previously co-founded and led Brelo, a fintech that pioneered smartphone-secured lending infrastructure in Brazil, reaching 300K users, originating millions in loans, and achieving default rates 3.7x lower than unsecured lending benchmarks. Brelo partnered with major players including Banco PAN (20M clients) and MercadoPago (50M clients).
Francisco has served as CFO of Eden Medical, a Series B HealthTech SaaS company, leading FP&A, controllership, payroll, treasury, tax, and ERP implementation across multi-country operations. He has also worked as a Venture Partner and VC investor, sourcing and diligencing fintech deals and supporting founders with fundraising, financial strategy, and growth execution.
Today, Francisco works as a Fractional CFO and strategic advisor, helping founders professionalize finance, improve cash efficiency, and implement AI-driven automation across accounting, FP&A, and treasury.
He holds an Industrial Engineering degree, a Master in Finance, and completed M&A and Corporate Development Strategies at Wharton Executive Education.
